Richard

Born in New Zealand I grew up with a wealth of outdoor experiences; from working on sheep stations during school holidays where I gained a lasting respect for the intelligence of sheepdogs; to fishing, hunting and hiking with Jossie, my faithful Labrador-cross who went everywhere with me.

Eventually I was accepted into The National Film School of Great Britain, after which I worked for many years as a TV commercial director in London, Hong Kong, and Canada. Writing has always been my passion and I have found dog care to be a perfect balance for this. My first novel is slated for publication in 2010.

Troy

I am a graduate of Central St. Martins School Of Art and I freelanced for The Daily Telegraph, Harpers & Queen, Cosmopolitan, Harrods etc. as a fashion illustrator for many years. As an artist I have illustrated children's books, and am currently a commissioned oil portrait artist and portrait photographer.

Snowy

Our dog, Snowy, is an all white, patchless Jack Russell Terrier with a big personality and too much imagination, and is my inspiration for a series of "Silly Little White Dog" books which I am presently developing.

Lady & Nana

Our two previous dogs, (sometime after Jossie and quite a while before Snowy), were Lady, a German Shepherd and Nana, a St. Bernard who were both rescue dogs. We miss them greatly.
